The weather was atrocious; we could not find a route across the hanging glacier due to snow cover.

Route was via the East Face on the hanging glacier up on to the North Ridge (Tibet border). Due to snow fall every day at about 2 pm onwards; large accumulation of snow, so we could not find a safe route across the hanging glacier to get to the ridge to set up for an Advanced Camp.
