BC northeast of Tent Peak (pt 5663m on German Annapurna map)
C1 on SE Spur of Fluted Peak
High point at C1 on Fluted Peak.
From C1 saw 2 avalanches of snow & falling stone down S Face of Glacier Dome & very steep at top. Leyh at BC was not well, so decided to cancel climb. Also glacier below S Face making serious amount of noise. Both Sherpas, who have summited 8000ers, agreed conditions dangerous. Had to fix rope coming down from C1 & also from Macchapuchare BC to Eve's BC for porters on dangerous rock.
Comparing pictures of mountain and reality, pictures captioned Glacier Dome are actually of an unnamed peak east of it, point 7069 on German map.
