16/05 summit team left C3 at 10 pm on 15/05. At about 8700m at 5 am three of the regulators failed. Fortunately, they had spare regulators and could change them. Hauer was without supplemental oxygen for about 20 minutes and started to get slightly dizzy. They spent about an hour on the summit and descended to ABC, where they arrived between 1 pm and 5 pm. Group 1 descended to CBC and left CBC on 19/05.

Group 2 (they had slept 8 weeks in a hypoxic tent prior to the expedition):

9 Sherpas at 6.30 am.

Team left C3 at 11 pm on 20/05. They had one regulator fail, but had a spare to replace it quickly. They were the only team on the mountain from the north side that day. They spent about one hour on the summit and descended to ABC, where they arrived between 1 pm and 6 pm. Group 2 left BC on 29/05.

Furtenbach never intended to summit. He went as high as the North Col.

Oxygen:

Group 1: taken and used from 7000 to top to 7000 by Sherpas and all members apart
from Lutz who started O2 at 7800m to top to ABC.

Group 2: taken and used from 8300m to top to ABC by Wagner; from ABC to top to ABC
by other three members; from C1 to top to C1 by Hauer and Sherpas.
