The three climbing members (including Sanchez) left C4 at 12:30 am. Weather was fine, but cold. At 7800m at about 4:30 am Sanchez decided to turn back as he was feeling tired and had no energy. He was not using oxygen. He descended to C4, where he arrived at 6 am.

They spent about 10 minutes on the summit and they descended to C4, where they arrived at 12 noon. They picked up Sanchez and descended to C3, where they arrived at 6 pm. On 28 Sept, everyone down at BC.

Team left BC 29 Sept by helicopter from BC.

Oxygen: Taken and used 8000m to the top to C4 by Garcia Gomez
