Reason for abandoning expedition was that the mountain was too crowded and Gatniejewski was worried about his safety and wanted to get away from the crowds. He descended to C1 to pack up his camp and then to BC.
Raport reached 5000m on 4 Nov. He was not feeling well and had problems with breathing and a bad cough, so he decided to stay at BC for the rest of the expedition.
