The ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) expedition consisted of 2 teams: 12 members in total, 9 climbers and 3 support staff.

Support staff consisted of 1 medical doctor (reached C2), Ritu Sharma (reached C2) and expedition leader Satendra Sagwan (only BC). Final summit attempt was made by 7 members, all summited [as corrected by Asian Trekking]:

Team 1 started for the summit from C4 at 11 pm on 27 May. They stayed on the top for 40 minutes. Weather was very good on that day, clear, bright and sunny on the summit. When they started there were strong winds, but later on winds subsided. They were the last team on Everest, making use of the very last weather window. Team got back to C4 around noon and to C2 after 1 hour rest. They reached C2 at 5:30 pm. Next day to BC (29 May).

Team 2 on summit push left C4 at 11:30 pm on 26 May. It was cloudy, windy, visibility was very poor. Wind turned to a storm on the summit (40km/h). Team stayed on the top for at least 30 minutes. They got back to C4 at 12:17 pm. After 1 hour rest, team continued descent to C2, which they reached at 7:30 pm. Next day to BC (28 May).

Monti Rajkhowa from Team 1 was not able to make a summit attempt, she had a bad cough and sore throat and abandoned climb at C2. She got as high as C4 on first summit attempt, but had to go down again because of bad weather.

Surendra Tomar from Team 2 abandoned climb at C2 because of abdominal pain. He reached C3 on the first rotation. Tomar was evacuated from C2 to BC by helicopter on 25 May.

The expedition collected 500 kg of garbage from South Col, bringing it down to C2. Helicopter took the garbage from C2 to BC. 1000 kg of garbage was collected at BC.

Taken and used by members from start of Lhotse Face (6600m) to summit and
down to C2; by Sherpas from C3/C4 to summit and down to C4.
