Team started from C3 at 10 pm on 9 May. It was very cold. When they reached 8000m both climbers got very cold feet and decided to turn back as they were worried that they would get frostbite. They descended to ABC, where they arrived at 5 pm. On the way down they stripped C3, but left C2.

They left ABC for a second summit push on 17 May. They stayed one night at C2 and on 18 May they reached about 7000m, but had cold toes again and abandoned the expedition. Descended to ABC. Left BC on 19 May by helicopter.

Fixed rope: 150m up the headwall.

Oxygen: Not taken, not used.
