High point team left C3 at 10 pm on 9 May. Snow in the French Couloirs was knee-deep and rope was fixed. When they got to the end of the French Couloirs, they were not sure whether that was the summit or not. They stopped as there were no fixed ropes as as the last section would have been too dangerous.

They spent about half an hour on their fore-summit and descended to ABC, where they arrived between 2 pm and 6 pm.

Carstens left on 25 April. His highest point was ABC. He had got a ham-string injury going from BC to ABC.

Gernez only got to ABC. He did not feel good and left 30 April by helicopter.

Padilla del Aguila reached about 7100m on 8 May. She was too slow to get to the Makalu La and decided to abandon the expedition. She descended to ABC.

Fixed rope: 4,800m from C1 to fore-summit.

Oxygen: taken and used from C3 to high pt to C3 by members and Sherpas.
