On their summit push, the team encountered too much snow on the ridge. Cornices were too dangerous and it was very cold. After about 12 hours of climbing they decided to turn back to C1. They stayed the night and on 22 Oct they returned to BC.
The rock on the ridge was very loose and it was difficult to find the way.
