HPt 29/09 6400m at C2 all clients apart from Wu and Cross.

On 29 Sept clients apart from Cross and Wu went to C2 to tag it and descended again to C1 to stay the night. Cross and Wu had stayed at deposit camp on 27 Sept. When the rest of the team went up to C2 and back, Cross and Wu were at C1. Night of 29 Sept all clients at C1. Morning of 30 Sept big dump of snow – all clients down to BC.

Sherpa at C2 on 30 Sept. They descended to C1 on 30 Sept. Snow was very deep and they took a long time to get down, so they stayed at C1 for the night. Descended to BC on 1 Oct. As long-term forecast had been bad, Crampton had asked the Sherpas to dismantle all camps.

Crampton reached C2 several times for rope-fixing.

Team waited for helicopter until 10 Oct, but weather was too bad. On 10 Oct they trekked to Marpha and then by jeep to Beni.
