Jacob Schmitz and Eli Potter did a bit of climbing and recon after the Island Peak climb this year. They got turned around by weather, but checked out a cool peak that they'll return to! After this, Eli went on to Ama Dablam where he was the only climber on the mountain for a couple of days, he wallowed in deep snow up high on the peak, but wisely listened to his inner voice telling him conditions weren't right, and turned around before reaching the summit. Hope to see some pics from Eli when he returns.
