When Biswas reached C4 on 19 May at noon he heard that Ang Phurba took a fall from Lhotse. He immediately descended to C3 the same day. On 21 May he reached C2. He stayed there until 24 May and ascended again for another summit push. He reached C3 on 25 May. On 26 May he descended to BC due to bad weather. Expedition abandoned.
