Summit team of Liu, Zhou and two Sherpas set out from C4 on 19 May at 8 pm. Mingma Gyalje and Ma left from Lhotse C4 (7800m) at 8 pm. Team spent about 15 minutes on the summit and everyone descended to C4, where they arrived at about 2 pm. Summit times were

Liu Lei, Dakipa Sherpa at 6:30 am
Zhou Hua, Phurba Tenzing Sherpa at 7:30 am
Mingma Gyalje and Ma at 10:50 am

Mingma Gyalje and Ma stopped about 30-50m below the very top. [Summit prayer flags are behind the team further up the slope in summit photo. Team acknowledged in a now deleted Facebook post that they did not go to the very top.]

Oxygen:
From C3 to top to C3 by Chinese members, Sherpas from C4 to top to C4.

Bandbuche reached C4 on 19 May with Kaji Sherpa; however, Kaji had a throat infection and he descended to C2 on 20 May. Bandbuche stayed another night. Mingma Gyalje Sherpa arrived from Lhotse to join Bandbuche. On 21 May the two descended to C2 and on 23 May Mingma Gyalje and Bandbuche ascended to C3 and on 24 May to C4.

At 10 pm on 24 May they left C4 for the summit. It was very windy and very cold. They were on their own and the route was covered in snow and the rope was buried in the snow. Mingma Gyalje tried hard to retrieve the rope; however, it was too difficult and then they decided to turn back from 8250m at about 11:30 pm. They descended to C4, where they arrived at 1 am on 25 May. On 26 May to C2, then BC.

Oxygen:
Bandbuche from C3 to high point to C3 by Bandbuche.
Mingma Gyalje did not use any oxygen.
