Patagonia Climbing Ambassador, Kenshi Imai, encountered an accident while climbing Chamlang (7319m). It occurred during his solo reconnaissance to scale the unclimbed north face. Search for him was abandoned on November 11.
Imai was in alone try to Chamlang north wall (7319m) in Nepal Himalaya is in distress, has gone missing. He was last seen climbing near 6500m on November 3. By the subsequent three searches, a few pieces of Imai's gear were recovered around 5600m.
