BC at 4850m below Barun Pokhari
C1 at 6750m on saddle of SE Ridge
C2 on the ridge
C3 just under black gendarme
High point on SE Ridge.
Tried SE Ridge and reached saddle; put tent here and went down for rest. Most times up to saddle and on one day to 7300m to 7600m next day and again to BC (on 14th). Then came heavy snowfall. 22nd again to saddle but winds very strong and decided to abandon attempt. Everyday strong wind; they appeared not to be going to abate. Van Almen had stayed down.
