C3 at Makalu La
C4 at North Face.
28th Sep Zamora and Canelles reached 7800m to reach C4 site. 1st Oct 3 members to 8050m and back because Matas got bad frostbite fixing a crampon in 1st summit bid. 2nd summit team only to Makalu La and then helped British climber Rick Allen to descend after his accident. 3rd summit team also only to Makalu La and then down helping Mexican climber Carlos Carsolio to descend following summit success and pulmonary edema (he used Spaniard's oxygen from C2 down). After that wind too strong for summit push to succeed.
All members reached Makalu La. 2 members (Zamora and Canellas) to summit of Kangchungtse 27th Sep from Makalu La camp via S Ridge.
French and Andorran members left early for personal (family) reasons.
