When the team reached C2 Ander lost feeling on the right side of his face and hand and started the use of oxygen. The team slept at C2 and the next morning Ander abandoned his climb and returned to C1 with Tashi. Ander rested at C1 for half hour, then proceeded to ABC while Tashi met up with Ahlqvist and Chhiring Dorje at C3.

Ahlqvist, Chhiring Dorje and Tashi only rested at C3 and did not sleep overnight there. They pushed for the summit leaving at 12:45 am on 2 Oct just after having breakfast. Early in the morning the weather was cold, but the conditions improved and as they came closer to the summit it was a perfect day (no clouds, no wind). The team spent a half hour on the summit, then descended all the way to C1 as Chhiring got notice that bad weather was coming.

Taken and used from C3 to summit to C3 by Chhiring Dorje and Tashi
