The team was on their summit attempt; however, the conditions on the mountain were not favorable and the clients had difficulties with the technical climbing. They reached C2 at 11 am on 29 Oct and decided to abandon the expedition. The team descended to BC the same day.
Gallant reached C1 on 23 Oct.
Left BC on 1 Nov by helicopter.
