Ausserdorfer and Bitschnau went up to 6300m on 3 November. The falling ice accident occurred in the same morning resulting death of Dendi Sherpa. Then Ausserdorfer and Bitsolinau decided to stop further climbing due to the falling ice.
While two members were up, Greussing and Tschofen were at C1 and after the falling ice accident they could not see any movement on the mountain. Greussing and Tschofen went up to 5900m, then they saw Ausserdorfer and Bitschnau coming down.
