De Carvalho started her summit bid from C2 at O:30 am. She got to the top at 2:30 pm. She had to stay an hour an half on the summit waiting to clear the rope as a Slovakian climber was very slow to descend since he could not rappel and his Sherpa was helping him to go down. She reached C2 at 8 pm. Next day 27 October she went down to BC. Ahead of De Carvalho there were Slovenians + Sherpas, two Germans + Sherpas and two Spanish.
Nichols did not stay in Ama Dablam BC due to illness and left for Namche.
