The summit party left C3 at 1:30 am (NST) on 29 September. They were Arnold, Behmand, Burke, Cayrol, Christianson, Hamill, McDowell, Mingma Tenjin, Mingma Tshering, Nima Karma and Phunuru.

All reached the summit between 6:00 and 8:00 am of the 29th and descended as follows: Rogers and Phunuru were in ABC at 1:30 pm, Behmand joined them at 5:00 pm, Burke, Christianson and McDowell stopped in C2 while Arnold, Cayol, Hamill and Morrow went down to C1. All Sherpa summiters descended to ABC.

Oxygen was used by summiting members from C2 or nearby to top and down to C2, and by summiting Sherpas from C2 to top and down until their supply ran out.

The only casualty was Burke, who developed a mild case of frostbite on the tip of one finger on summit day.

Non-summiting members

Bennett got stomach bug (food poisoning) in C2 on 28 September.
