Summit team left C3 at 1:30 am (CST). When they started out the weather was calm, but cold. They spent about 30 minutes on the summit. On the way down, Afif took off his right glove on the Yellow Band to put the rope through his rappel device and the wind blew away his right glove. His right hand got very cold and he got slight frostbite on his right middle finger. They descended to C3, where they arrived at about 4 pm. The following day they descended to ABC.

On his return to Kathmandu, Afif went to Norvic Hospital to get treated for his frostbite.

Oxygen:
Taken and used from 7400m to summit to C2 by Afif
Ongdik Bhote did not use any oxygen
