Smt 27/09 by Maybank and Lhakpa at 9:30 am; McDonald and Karma Sherpa at 9 am.

Summit team and Coster and Bailey left C3 at 8 pm on 26 Sept. They had stayed two nights at C3 as the weather was not good enough to go for the summit on 26 Sept. Perfect conditions and straightforward climb.

Summit team spent about 30 minutes on top: McDonald descended to BC where she arrived at 8 am. Maubank descended to C3, where he arrived at about 1 pm.

Bailey reached about 7000m on [night of] 26 Sept. He was feeling nauseas and turned back to BC.

Coster reached C4 at 7400m. As the team was making very slow progress, he knew that his oxygen was needed, so he gave it to the team and turned back. He descended to BC.

On 28 Sept everyone was back at BC.
