Kane left C2 at 11 pm (NST) on 29 Sept. Weather was calm and not too cold. At about 2:30 am the wind picked up and it got a lot colder. As he was worried about his feet, he decided to turn back. He descended to C2, where he arrived at 5 am, and stayed there for 2 hours. He then continued to ABC, where he arrived at 4 pm.
