First summit push brought him up to 8400m on 13 May, stopped by weather conditions.

For second summit push, started on 18 May from BC to C2. Day after slept at C3. On 20 May started at 00:30 am and reached summit at 2:30 pm, being back to C3 at 8 pm. The next day was back to BC.

Boyan provided with excellent pictures from the summit from Yalung Kang to Kangchenjunga south.

He lost 10 kgs after these 2 summit pushes.

He is probably the first diabetic (type 1, 5 insulin shots a day) and for sure the first Bulgarian climber to reach Kangchenjunga summit.

Climbed G1, G2 and attempted Broad Peak and K2 last summer. This summer 2014 he is going back on these both and will come back next year in Nepal for Manaslu.
