Summit team started from C3 at 7 pm on 24 May. They had decided to leave out C3 due the proximity between the two camps. Straightforward climb. Cook and Nima summited first and stayed there for about 45 minutes. Burke and Lhakpa stayed for about 15 minutes.

On the way down, Cook took off his oxygen mask at about 8200m as his goggles kept on fogging up. Nima Sherpa and Cook descended to C3, where they arrived 11 pm and stayed the night. Lhakpa and Burke descended al the way to C2, where they arrived at 5 pm.

On 26 May everyone was back at ABC.
