High-point team left C3 at 1:30 am. Weather was clear, but windy. After about 2-1/2 hours of climbing the gales became so strong that Pemba and Soell got a bit worried. They decided to turn back at 4 am and descended to C3, where they arrived at 5 am. Soell rested for two hours and descended to ABC, where she arrived at 1:30 pm. Pemba Jangbu stayed at C3 a bit longer.

Greher reached 7900m on 24 May on the ascent to C3. After about 3 hours. Greher felt very short of breath and weak, so he decided to turn back. He descended to ABC, where he arrived at 5 pm. As he still felt weak and short of breath, he took some Nifedipine to get some sleep.

On 27 May Greher and Soell descended to Chinese BC.
