Team were the staff for Explore Himalaya’s Everest Skydive event and had been working in the Khumbu for the Skydive event for 10 days. They went straight to base camp and wanted to climb Ama Dablam quickly.

When they reached C2 they noticed that the snow was too deep and even though they would have been prepared to climb in alpine-style they thought it was too dangerous. After having touched C2 they descended to BC.
