원정 개요

Yoshiyuki and Mingma went to Island Peak for a warm up climb before attempting Ama Dablam and summited it on 16 November. They arrived at Ama Dablam BC and were joined there by Phurba Namgyal on the 19th.

The three men left C2 for the top on 24 November at 2:00 am, summited at 11:00 am and returned to C2 at 3:00 pm. They were back in BC on the 25th and left it the next day.

Yoshiyuki used oxygen from 6400m (the normal site for C3) to the summit and back to C2. The two Sherpas used none.
