On 2 Nov Luo reached C2, where she stayed the night. The rest of the team (Feng, Li, Liu Shi-Young, Liu Yu, Ma, Xing, Zhang Qing-Yong, Zhang Wen-Wei and Zhu) reached about 5900m and turned back to BC. It was the acclimatization rotation.

When they got back, four members left to climb Island Peak, three went to Kathmandu and three stayed at BC to give it another go. On 6 Nov, Feng and Zhang Qing-Yong reached 6100m, but decided to turn back due to too much snow and and no fixed ropes. Luo stayed at BC.

Later in November the team returned to Ama Dablam and five members of the team summited Ama Dablam on 28 Nov.

Congratulations to all the summit team of M/S Seven Summit Treks today on 28th November 2013, 09:30 on Mt. Ama Dablam (6812m) by Mr. Lakpa Sherpa, Mr. Pemba Sherpa, Mr. Mingma Dorchi Sherpa and Mr. Chhiji Nurbu Sherpa and most important the 05 Chinese climbers summited Mt. Ama Dablam. This is the first time Chinese climbers summited this mountain in China mountaineering history. Once more congratulations. From base camp by Tashi Sherpa.
