원정 개요

The summit party of four members and two Sherpas set out from the summit at midnight of September 30/1 October. They were Alia, Bermejo, Garrido and Heredia with Sherpas Ang Geljen and Jangbu. They stood on the top together at 8:30 am of the 1st and descended together to C2 at about 2:00 pm, tired but happy.

They had good weather on their summit day, but that night the weather changed dramatically and became very windy and cold.

One member did not go for the top: Casado reached 6800m on 19 September, but turned around because she was too cold and tired. She descended to ABC and stayed there during the rest of the climb.
