Latorre climbed from ABC to the sumit in 20 hours. He left 12 noon on 25 Sept. Weather and conditions were very good. At 6 pm Latorre reached C2, where he rested for 6-1/2 hours. He left again at 12:30 am and arrived at the summit at 8 am. He spent about half hour on the summit and saw Mount Everest. He descended to ABC, where he arrived at 5 pm.

On 28 Sept he descended to BC and went straight to Kathmandu. He climbed together with Azim Gheichisaz from Iran (Asian Trekking) and Johann Wenzl from Austria (Monterosa).
