Team left C4 at 2 am. Straightforward climb. Spent about 15 minutes on the summit and descended to C3, where they arrived at 4 pm. BC on 23 May.

After their climb, La Torre together with Alex Chicon (Txikon) and Jorge Egocheaga from another team took a helicopter to Dhaulagiri I to rescue their friend Juanjo Garra, who had broken a leg and was lying at 7700m. Egocheaga reached Garra, but unfortunately too late. He died 25 minutes after Egocheaga's arrival.
