원정 개요
On 17 May Cool and Dorje Gyalgen moved to C3 of Everest and went to the South Col on 18 May, where they arrived at around noon. Cool and Dorje Gyalgen left the South Col for the summit at 7:30 pm on 18 May. Perfect conditions, but many people. They summited at 1:45 am in complete darkness and spent about 20 minutes on the summit. They descended to C4, where they arrived at 4 am.
Cool was climbing on his own, as his Nigerian/UK client Latifu Kolawole Abiola, never made it to Nepal. He had other political engagements and cancelled the expedition.
