Summit team left C4 at 1:30 am on 24 May. It was windy and clear. They carried on even though the fixed ropes ended just below the couloirs (a point where many people from Asian Trekking had stopped). There was some old fixed ropes in the couloirs, which they used but were not great. They spent about 20 minutes on the summit and descended to C4, where they arrived at 4:30 pm. On 25 May descended to BC.

Abramczyk had also joined the first summit push during which Azim Gheichisaz, Yang Chun-Feng and Lhakpa Dendi summited on 23 April. They were attempting to summit from the Makalu La and the team, including Liu Xiang-Yang, left on 22 April at 3:30 pm. They reached C4 (7900m) at 7 pm. They saw that there were no fixed ropes and Abramczyk, Liu and Yang waited for about 3 hours for two Sherpas and Gheichisaz to fix some rope. The Sherpas were not very good at it, so Gheichisaz helped them. At about 10 pm, Abramczyk decided to leave and went back to the Makalu La, where he arrived at 11:30 pm.
