Stark left C4 at 9 pm on 22 May. It was calm. Not many people on the route. He was climbing with the Damian Benegas group. He had to slow down on the way up as he would have reached the summit in the dark otherwise.

He summited at 5:15 am and spent about 30 minutes on the summit. It was cold and windy. He descended to C4, where he arrived at 10:30 am. He rested there until 12 noon and descended to C2, where he arrived at 5:30 pm. He met up with Chad Kellog whom had been acclimatizing with and both descended to BC on 24 May.
