Eight members and two Sherpas went to the summit on 18 October. They were Astelbauer, Hawel, Leist, Merkel, Reiners, Schwab, Tuechler and Wehnelt with Sherpas Pemba Jangbu and Sonam Jangbu. They left C3 at 3:00 am. First on the top was Merkel at 8:00 am and the last was Hawel at 11:30 am. In their descent, Merkel went all the way down to BC at 3:00 pm. The last were Hawel and Tuechler, who got to BC at 9:00 pm.
Two members are not in good enough condition to get all the way to the top: Staedale and Vedani reached 6600m and 6900m respectively on summit day and retreated to C1 for the night.
