On summit attempt day, the team left C4 at 1 am, reached high point at 8 am and was back C4 at 11 am where they slept. The team did climb in a very good weather conditions (not cold, no wind) without anybody else around. In fact, they didn't intend to attempt for the summit that time, having not enough acclimatized, but the weather was so good that they decided to try it anyway and both went close from summit. Both hoped after that for next time, but the weather turned bad for too long a time and they decided to abandon (Alex Gavan left BC before Alexei Bolotov).
