Team arrived at Samagaon on 6th.

Many Sherpas and those focused more on Everest wanted to cancel expedition; about 50 percent of groups continued and 50 percent cancelled.

Ersun was dependent on Rolwaling Excursions support. Sherpa Jit Bahadur and Ersun were not prepared to continue independently.

Jit Babu Sherpa felt frustrated; already paid Sherpa and they decided to cancel. Sherpa was working for Rolwaling Excursions.


Permit:

Torbjorn Hallstrom took a joint permit with Ersun Kurtulus and 5 other members (international), the latter not dealing with Rolwaling Excursions agency. 15 Sherpas from Rolwaling Excursions led by Tashi Sherpa had to manage the Chinese group (leader Sang Zhu), Ersun and Torbjorn, and to put up the altitude camps and fix the rope. After that 13 Sherpas especially took care of the Chinese, and two especially for Torbjorn (Pemba Rita Sherpa) and Ersun (Jit Bahadur Sherpa).
