The two members left their camp at 6050m at 8:15 am on 26 November. The time was a bit late, but they waited for the sun to come around and warm their hands, and also for the wind to drop, which it did. (It had been quite strong the day before and had delayed their summit push).

The 26th of November was a "beautiful day, clear and dry." They summited at 3:20 pm and spent only enough time at the top to take pictures. They returned for the night to their camp at 6050m.

On the 27th, they descended to BC and beyond it to Pangboche village and were in Namche Bazaar the next day in time for their Buddhist wedding there on the 29th. The following days were full of wedding festivities. On 3 December a big helicopter took the wedding party, most of whom were Sherpa friends, to Jiri, and from there they returned to Kathmandu by bus.
