After arrival at BC Williamson was not feeling well (stomach problem). On 29 October he and Szymiec climbed to C1 and back to BC on 30 October. They returned to C1 on 1 November and were on their way to C2 when Williamson declared he had no more time. They turned back and went all the way to Namche Bazaar that day. Flew from Lukla to Kathmandu on 3 November.
