They lost their kits in avalanche. They were at C2 and lost items include: tents, oxygen, downsuits, sleeping bags, stove, food, rope and ice axe -> all fundamentals.
After avalanche waited and tried to look for moving items in order to possibly continue, but were unsuccessful.
