The pair climbed without oxygen and Sherpas.

Ascent Schedule:

21st Oct: arrival at BC, 4400m
22nd Oct: went to C1, back to BC (acclimatization)
23rd Oct: rest day
24th Oct: night at C1 5700m
25th Oct: night at C2, 6100m
26th Oct: departure from C2, arrival summit at 11 am, return to C2 at 4 pm
27th Oct: back to BC
28th Oct: leave BC on the afternoon.

Rodney Garrard reported that big companies used most of the space at C1 and C2 during the whole season, so that an amateur team just could find a place to set up their own tents.

There are just too many fixed ropes, many climbers using it all the way with their jumars.
