Summit team left C3 at 6 am. Weather was sunny with a cold wind. They spent about an hour on the summit (average) and descended to C3, where they arrived at 1:30 pm and Roessner, Mueller, Wohlwend and Seidel spent the night. Baeck, Brantner, Rainer and Kirchmair descended to C1, where they arrived at 5 pm.

Carsten and Wiltrud Schepp stayed the night at C2 on 24 Oct. The following day they reached 6500m, however, as they were very slow they turned back and descended to C2, where they spent another night.

Hirzel reached about 5900m on 24 Oct; he turned back as he was feeling exhausted.
