High point on 18 May at 7600m by Gavan at 4:30 pm.

Gavan left C3 at 7:30 am. He was very slow and did not feel well. When he reached the bottom of the Yellow Band after 9 hours (far too slow), he decided to turn back as his left lung was hurting. He descended to C2 where he arrived at 8 pm.

On 19 May he descended to BC and left BC on 20 May. He walked to Lukla in 25 hours non-stop and flew to Kathmandu on 21 May.

He was being tested for pneumonia at CIWEC.
