All seven members left C3 for the top on 18 May at 11:30 pm (NST) with an equal number of Sherpas. But not all reached the summit: Watroba developed a chest infection at 10:00 am on the 19th, and retreated to C3. Cheddar and Nima Nuru went down with her.

The others, Cartwright, Crampon, Dickson, Horrell, Michanovskaia and Rawlinson, with Ang Gelu, Changba Nurbu, Kami Nuru, Pasang Nima and Pasang Wangchu continued to the summit at various times on 19 May. The first to summit were Crampton and Rawlinson at 7:00 am; the last were Horrell with Changba Nurbu. All descended to C3 between 10:00 am (Rawlinson) and 5:00 pm (Horrell) and Changba Nuru.

Everyone was in ABC on 20 May.

Oxygen was used by the members and their Sherpas from 7300m to their high points to C1.
