The entire team reached C2 on 8 May. This was the first time they reached C2 as it was not possible to go up earlier. They spent the night at C2; however, there was a big thunderstorm and huge snowfall. The Studer family decided to descend on the morning of 9 May while the other three members (Goger, Klaus and Land) stayed another night at C2 to wait for better weather. As the weather did not improve they descended on 10 May.
Everybody left BC on 12 May and walked to Jomsom.
