Team was on its acclimatization rotation when they reached C2 on 9 May. They took about 8 hours to get there. The next day they descended to BC to rest and get ready for the summit. However, as the strong winds that had been howling all season had not abated they decided to cancel the expedition. They left some gear at C2 and are hoping that some Sherpas from another expedition will bring it down.

They left BC on 14 May.
