BC southeast of Island Peak
C1 at col between Island Peak and Lhotse Shar
C2 on South Ridge
C3 on South Ridge
C4 on SE Ridge
High point at SE Ridge site for C4.
Long delay making C2 because much bad weather (snow and wind) and 50m before C2 site big (8-10m wide) crevasse. 2 now reached site for C4 at 7400m on 12 May but slept only at 7200m, where no avalanche problem (at 7400m clouded in and could not see area properly). After 2 nights at 7200m down to BC because again snow and wind. 16 May Casimiro and Abrego towards C3, bad weather and down again 19 May. Climb finished because of constant snow and wind and difficult steep ice.
