Houde, Dupasquier, Mingma and Lhakpa left C4 at 7:30 pm on 18 May. Mingma and Houde got to the top at 7:28 am on 19 May. Lhakpa and Dupasquier got to the top at 8 am. The first team stayed on summit for an hour and second team for 30 minutes. The team returned to C4 at 3 pm and 4 pm. They spent the night at C4. Next day 20 May they slept at C2 and on 21 May descended to BC. There were about 12 climbers ahead of Houde team. They came across about 30 climbers at Hillary Step where they had to wait at least an hour.

On 27 April Houde's tent was hit by avalanche that came from Nuptse's face. Luckily no serious damage done to climbers and tent.
